Lab Capabilites The Bio-Energy Center is comprised of six different laboratories to support our research and educational goals. The capabilities of the laboratories allow staff at the Bio-Energy Center to research every phase of the chain of biofuels from seed to fuel processing to engine performance to engine emissions testing. The breath of Bio-Energy Center’s laboratory capabilities is unique and allows the Center to be responsive and diverse in the activities that are undertaken. Our laboratories capabilities are focused on biofuels, excluding ethanol, lubricants and bio-lubricants, and heavy duty diesel engines.
